I never had the kind of teacher who could teach me, and I had studied the math and the physics and even entered a physics Ph D program, until I realized that whenever I wanted to read something inspiring under a tree in the park I brought the computer science books, not math or physics. And thus was a path forged...

I think the things physicists object to in pop sci are claims like "it is both a particle AND a wave -- wooo wooo" or "it passes through both slits!" Not to mention "the observer causes wavefunction collapse" or outdated (by a century) concepts like "relativistic mass."

I know this wasn't supposed to be a metaphor, but physics/math is a actually a great metaphor/analogy/container for examining the intuition/measurement dichotomy lens itself. The intuition/measurement dichotomy lens is itself kind of "the learning process" simplified to a sphere and ready for us to work with across disciplines. This kind of writing absolutely delights me, where you've looped back on your own topic on another layer entirely, possibly on accident but maybe not!
